32nd Annual EKU Summer Camp Job Fair

  The 32nd annual EKU Summer Camp Job Fair will be held February 21st at Eastern Kentucky University in the Powell Building-EKU Student Center from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.

  Representatives from over 30 camps in Kentucky and surrounding states will be available to talk to EKU students about rewarding summer jobs. A variety of positions are available and all majors are encouraged to attend. Camp representatives are looking for students with knowledge and skills in the arts, team sports, crafts, aquatics, nursing and emergency medical services, environmental education and adventure sports such as climbing and rappelling, camping, backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking.

  Applicants can also serve as camp directors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, or nutrition specialists. Representatives at the Summer Camp Job Fair are from private camps, Girl Scout and Boy Scout camps, YMCA camps, church camps, and camps serving special populations, such as physically, emotionally, and mentally disabled and economically disadvantaged youth.
