The Department of Recreation and Park Administration, in conjunction with EKU's Division of Student Llife, delivers the Haunting At The Stadium. This event takes place during the Halloween season at the Begley Building, EKU's football stadium at the corner of the Eastern By-Pass and Roy and Sue Kidd Way (across from the State Police Office). Faculty and students join in the planning, delivery and evaluation of this fun and festive regional event.

Students enrolled in REC 460, Advanced Program Planning and Leadership, guided by Department graduate assistants and faculty, design and manage the event. This service learning event provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in planning, organizing, managing, and implemeting a special event. All decisions regarding promotion, construction, animation, solicitation, and staffing are made by students in concert with the faculty advisor.
